That's the end of the first year of Unlikely Positive Outlook. Thanks to everyone who read (And the select "best-friends" that didn't). Will Mill's life is a complicated one, and all the people that inhabit it sure are characters... Hmm... You guy's interested in an Epilogue? Yeah? Yeah! Epilogues are awesome! This is where the magic happens. So, I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas as I did, what with the Kinect and all. Sorry about the late post, Mary forced me into partying instead of of working on my comic... so, you know. All that jazz.

Oh god

The plot thickens. Guys, the story ends next week and I'm working everyday of next week! No hanging out this weekend, no partying all night long. This arc started in Haloween Party 2010

Man.

The style in this comic is a bit strange this time. What happened was I accidently deleted the original layer with the black ink layer of detail on it. I was so bummed that I might of had to re-draw everything. What ended up happening was I employed just the regular techniques of coloring in the lines and adding shading with air-brush. It came out pretty awesomely, but it's not something I want to stick with. I like my regular style right now, and I'm keeping it :)

Hey kids, just wanted to say hey and hope you enjoyed the above comic. When I drew it, I messed around with the order of of how it would be read. When I read it multiple times, I thought it was interesting. Then I scanned, traced, colored, and worded it. I noticed I came across as some douche-bag who got all art housey on you. The comic won't stay this way. I just wanted to experiment and it wasn't the best experiment. So thanks for understanding kids.

So here's the thing kids. I didn't make a Haloween themed comic because it's intergral to the story right now. Like, crazy intergral. Without Haloween, I won't be able to end this story arc. So sorry kids about that, but just hang tight because it's gonna get crazy. There is a Positive Outlook... although highly unlikely.

So, this is the sligh transition. Very cartoony, but a little bit more of how I rock the Photoshop CS5 (64 bit). I dig actual eyes this time. Not just slits and dots. The only thing so far is trying to make them appear more dynamic, like finding out how to draw them with cool little hues and the light source reflection in them.

Okay, so...

Friday's comic is gonna be a little bit weird, because at the time, I was experimenting with different techniques with the characters. I figured, they should have some more expression, and I was sad with the way their eyes were nothing but 70s Scooby-Doo "dots". So, on Friday, the characters are gonna appear a little cartoony. This is the transition into the new style in the next couple of weeks of November, so first off, I'm gonna apologize, then secondly, I'm gonna apologize for apologizing cause it's MY WORK! I don't need to say sorry! I'm an artist, and I'm writing the story. I can put everyone on space and give Will, Mitch, and Lily a complex love triangle! But I won't... OR WILL I? Ya'll don't even know...

Early comic this week. I found this idea and just had to get it on the web. I don't know if you can see it, but that album that the redhead is holding is a reference to Questionable Content as well as just being a great album overall. If you ever find it out there, you should totally own it and enjoy it. I'm hanging out at my girlfriend's work right now, just typing away, wishing I had my sketch book:( iPhone loses it's novelty after a while. I should just toss this thing... I'M FUCKING WITH YOU! So, it's been years since I've ridden a bike, so when Mary got a new bike, I really wanted to go biking with her. It was pretty awesome, we headed out the first time, went to Target, bought a bike lock, then headed through the park, on our way home. Pretty awesome, 45-minutes worth of ride. The second time, we headed out to grab my xbox from my brother. Going good, all fine, then I try and go up on a curb at too less of an angle and I go down HARD. Nothing broken, but my wrist broke my fall, so this entire comic was finished with a jacked up hand. Ima enjoy some pills and sleep hardcore.

Sorry I didn't update the blog the other day. I was sooooo wiped out. But, in all good time, I finished.. And what a brutal back story. So, it has come to my attention that some people still thought this was the story of Mary, Charlena, Anthony, and myself. Well, to dispel that, I took all of the old comics off of the site, and am going to add them into a new website under a different name. And I'll update them every two weeks on Saturday. Epic is, as epic does. Finally finished this guy. Now I gotta work on tonight's comic. I really want to sleep, but... whatever.

Just a little backstory for ya.

Man, so last night, all of a sudden, I had these ugly stomach pains. I tried to sit up to watch Avatar, but it was way too much. I threw up pretty hard. We're guessing it's from all the Oreos I had. We got dem mint flavored ones, so I don't even know what happened, but I still get shots of stomach pains from time to time. Anyways, I'm happy to get some time to rock this comic out for you.

So, one last thing: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON! It's amazing! God, if you haven't seen it yet, you're missing out, because it's just got everything you need in an epic family adventure with dragons and vikings! Ugh, it's so good. I saw it the second time on Wednesday with my nephew and he loved it. If you have your doubts, look at this right here.

Alright! Issue one! Finally, something different. Since this is on my own site, I'm happy to feel like my schedule is finally on track.
